In the spirit of “satsang,” the gathering of spiritual friends to inquire into truth, Kokyo Henkel will bring up a topic for dialogue and we will explore, through inquiry and response, the direct experience of ourselves and our world, and how we meet each other most openly.
Next year holds many changes for the Santa Cruz Zen Center. Two teachers will be stepping out of the Practice Leader model, the community kitchen and bathroom will be remodeled, and there are considerations for experimenting with additional programming in the 113 School Street space.
