Susan Moon to speak at SCZC Wednesday June 18th

 Buddhist writer, editor, and teacher, Susan Moon, will give the Dharma talk Wednesday evening June 18th.

Susan Moon is a long time practitioner from Berkeley Zen Center. She was editor of the modern Buddhist classic, Being Bodies: Buddhist Women on the Paradox of Embodiment, and for many years was editor of Turning Wheel , the journal for Buddhist Peace Fellowship. She wrote This is Getting Old, Zen Thoughts on Aging with Humor and Dignity, a book that Santa Cruz Zen Center’s Aging OWLs are currently reading.

Susan will talk about Maylie’s Prayer, a poem based on the Metta Sutta written by her Dharma sister Rev. Maylie Scott.
