A Few Photos of our Earth Day Santa Cruz 2024 Listening Station and Ceremony

On April 20th, our sangha celebrated Earth Day by processing from the Zen Center to Abbot Square while chanting the En Me Jukku Kannon Gyo for compassion. We also offered a ceremony to honor our relationship with the Earth and invited people to share how they give back to the Earth. Finally, we offered Listening Stations at the Earth Day Celebration and invited people to share how they feel about the state of the planet in a safe and welcoming environment. It was a full day of Engaged Buddhist practice!
