Japanese Cultural Fair June 4 11 am - 6 pm

Amid the music and drumming of the day-long Japanese Cultural Fair, Zen Center lends out our back patio for the “quieter” demonstrations of Flower Arranging, Tea Ceremony, and Bonsai.

We make this event an Open House - taking this opportunity to introduce the Zen Center to the Santa Cruz community. We show people our zendo, gardens, and dokusan room. And we show them our daily sitting schedule and upcoming activities.

If you would like to volunteer as a host, or help with preparation or clean-up, please sign up on the bulletin board. Or just use this day to have a good time at the Fair in Holy Cross Peace Park with family and friends, and come by the Zen Center for a visit.
