A study discussion group taking an inward look at race and racism within our hearts and minds. Led by Val Miranda and Patrick Teverbaugh. First Tuesday of each month, 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in person at SCZC and on Zoom.

Hi everyone!

Fierce Vulnerability is promising to be a great book. 🙏🏽

Here is how we would like to divide the chapters for each time we meet.

Chapters 1 & 2, Chapters 3 & 4, Chapters 5 & 6, Chapters 7 & 8, Chapters 9 & 10, Chapters 11 & 12 Chapter 13 + Coda + Dedication of Merit + Notes

So for November 4, please read Chapters 1 & 2. Please reflect on the following two guiding questions as you read the chapters, to help us get the conversation going.

Question 1:

Think about trauma in your own life. How has it influenced or changed your practice/activism?

Question 2:

How much have you seen vulnerability as a strength in your life?

See you next month!

🙏🏽
