The Hungry Ghosts are parts of ourselves that are difficult for us to face, maybe we're a little embarrassed or ashamed of them. In this ceremony we open-heartedly bring them forward, and offer to feed and care for them. With our chanting and noise making we invite them to join us. Then we walk with them to the altar where we offer them incense, food, flowers and light.

We will also be doing a short Memorial ceremony for friends and relatives who have passed away this last year.

After the ceremony we will have our usual snacks and tea, and time for socializing.
