Queer Ecology: Celebrating Diversity in Nature

  • Temple Beth El 3055 Porter Gulch Road Aptos, CA, 95003 United States (map)

Senator John Laird will be the keynote speaker. A joint offering between the Santa Cruz Interfaith Climate Circle and Out In Our Faith, the service will include readings and meditations to explore the theme of queer ecology, an emerging field of study that intersects queer theory, social justice, and ecological studies, using science to reflect the LGTBQ+ community as integral to the natural world. Rev. Steve Palmisano from SCZC will be speaking at the service.
