Via livestream, we will recite the Samdhinirmochana Sutra, the Scripture Unlocking the Mysteries, and dedicate the merit to the healing and well-being of all those affected by Covid-19 and to the endless flourishing of Warm Jewel Temple. Kokyo and Shoho will keep the chanting going continuously (~3 hours), and everyone is welcome to join in the recitation at home (with muted microphone) at any time.
The pdf text of the sutra is be available to read on your screen here. Afterwards Kokyo will do a virtual departing jundo, and all will be able to bow while he walks by bowing to you. Then there will be a chance for informal goodbyes, and Kokyo and Shoho will leave Santa Cruz the next day.
