Join us for a 3-Day Genzo-e Sesshin on “Mind Cannot Be Grasped” (Dogen Zenji’s Shin Fukatoku) at Jikoji Zen Center.

Genzo-e sesshin is an opportunity for a deep exploration of Dogen Zenji’s teachings. Jikoji and SCZC sanghas will gather together to delve into the Shobogenzo as text and experience. Come explore the wondrous meaning and implications of Dogen's profound meditation instructions in the silence of the Santa Cruz Mountains. $60/day, including lodging. The Teacher

Kokyo Henkel has been practicing Zen since 1990 at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center, Green Gulch Farm Zen Center, and Bukkokuji Monastery in Japan. He was ordained as a priest in 1994 by Tenshin Anderson Roshi and received Dharma Transmission from him in 2010.
