Each day will include morning teachings with Rev. Kokyo Henkel and formal oryoki meals. Please plan to attend at least two days, or whole sesshin if possible, to help support this important retreat at the culmination of the Dharma year. There will be a ceremony to celebrate Buddha’s Awakening to end sesshin at 5pm on December 11. Suggested donation: $35/day for sustaining members, $40 for others.

To end sesshin, on December 11, Buddha’s Awakening will be celebrated with offerings, chanting, and circumambulation at 5pm, followed by usual 5:45 zazen, and 6:30 Dharma Inquiry Ceremony.Everyone will have an opportunity to ask a practice question to shuso Rev. Mushin Neti Parekh to celebrate the completion of her term as head student.
