This Saturday Sangha’s discussion topic is “Koans: why do people choose to study with them and in what ways can this form of practice deepen moment-to-moment awareness”.

We will have a panel lead by Reverend Neti Parekh, Rene Netter and Sara Mclellen, participants in Neti’s weekly koan study group, will give brief introductory statements then take questions and comments from the rest of the group.

Neti studied in the Diamond Sangha tradition of Robert Aitken Roshi for 12 years. Diamond Sangha is a Soto/Rinzai tradition with a strong emphasis on koan training. She was authorized to teach in 2008.
